Friday we met my friend’s (A.) new girl friend (H.) (of about a month). She seemed way different than him (but he’s a scorpio and he tends to choose opposites). She was nice though. We told her about the other friends we were going to meet and how they liked weird movies and music. She seemed ok with it.
We made burgers and everyone hung out. Then they decided to go to Scarecrow to get movies for the evening. Thats when things went bad.
The H started bad mouthing everything we picked out. She wanted a movie you could get from anywhere (like The Ring, or whatever). The reason you go to Scarecrow is to find gems like “Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter“. By the time everyone got back, A & H were missing. A. comes upstairs to grab H’s purse and says she’s going home. They broke up that night! It was both funny and sad.

Saturday we saw Shonen Knife at Chop Suey. We met up with Evan’s dad for pizza before the show. About half way though dinner Randi’s brother Robert appeared cause he wanted food before the show too. He sat with us til it was time to go. Sadly, Ryan & Randi couldn’t make it because of scheduling conflicts. So Robert had 2 extra tickets to give away.
Later I’m at the bar and I notice a guy and gal walk by & I realize I know the guy from high school. He went to a different school and was 2 years older but I use to see his band play all the time (cause he was cute, lol). I didn’t to run right up cause i couldn’t remember his name, so I just let it go. After we sit down, he and the girl grab a table near us and I see him looking back at me. He gets up and I finally say “I know you!”. He knew my whole name (after 6 years)! He’s like “you were our biggest fan!” I totally got his name wrong but he corrected me. It was so funny. I talked to him a bit later and i think evan was alittle jealous, lol.
Shonen Knife was great. The crowd wasn’t crazy. You could dance in your spot alittle. They played a lot of songs that I could remember like Sushi Bar, Twist Barbie, Concrete Animals, Jelly Beans. It was very fun.

Sunday we went to a holiday party at my aunts.

oh yeah! Manson is coming to seattle in february. I’m taking the day off from work that day. It’s gonna be freaking awesome!!
