Since Ravelry is down for maintenance I’ll post something new.

Yesterday was too much for me.

I had an interview at the “big software company” in Redmond (trying not to jinx myself). My dad sent me a map of the campus and how to get to the building i needed. THERE IS NO PARKING!! I drove in circles and swore and almost cried until I saw a spot open up.
Once I got out I realized I didn’t know where the entrance to the building was. I saw some guy and asked him how to get in. He said he’d take me there. We walked through parking garages and over rocks and finally found the entrace (10 minutes late).
The front desk girl signed me in and I sat down. She finally noticed I was sitting there 20 minutes later and someone finally came and got me. I was suppose to talk to 2 people but 1 had to leave. I just hope I made a good enough impression on my interviewer that they’ll tell the other person good things.

Then I had a hard time finding my car on the way out. I got lost and almost cried.

Evan called afterwards and said to meet at his work so his parents and us could go look at the last house we were interested in. Everyone showed up and gave their opinions. It’s really frustrating for me to have no control over a decision this big. Everything is dependent upon his pre-approval and it’s taking way too long to get it because of his “situation”.  I also don’t want to waste people’s time if we’re not going to make an offer soon. Why drag the parents and our realator around? ack, i just want to be done with it all.

Last weekend we celebrated Hannukah at my dad’s in Camano. I woke up Sunday morning and noticed it was snowing lightly. It didn’t seem to be sticking to the ground so we hung around a bit. About an hour later we saw the freeway on the news and had to leave! Thinking about it now, I might have over-reacted, but it was scary at the time. By the time we got to Bellevue there was no snow anywhere.

We got a food processor for Hannukah. I mentioned that we needed one because i want to try out some receipes from Deceptively Delicious. It should help us eat better and teach me to cook.

We also played the Scene It game on the XBox 360. I like this much more than the board game version. I kicked ass and won both games.

We’ve been watching a lot of movies lately. I thought I’d share my opinion.
This is England - I rarely cry at movies and this one made me cry (the last one I sobbed at was Broke Back Mountain). Thankfully things work out in the end. Going into this one I wasn’t sure if it was about the good skinheads or the bad ones. It’s about both (like how one turns into the other). But if you don’t like movies about racism, then stay away.
Deathwatch - I don’t like scary movies but I could sort of handle this one. I started to feel sick 3/4 of the way through but the ending made sense and I could move on. I only rented it because it had Jamie Bell in it. I also noticed it has the cute blonde guy from The Hole and the guy who played Golem.
Jesus Camp - OMG! It creeps me out to know that these places exist. I get a goosebumpy feeling any time I watch religious documentaries and I had them the whole time this was on. I feel so bad for the kids who are homeschooled in this movie because they’ll never get a real education.

Knitting is finally focused on me now. I tried on the body of my pullover and it fits! I’m working on the 2nd sleeve. If I can keep going at a good rate I should have this doen before new years

Although, Weaving Works is having a sale tomorrow. Who knows what new projects that’ll create.
