ack! 4 more days still Vegas. It feels like i have too many things to do to get ready.

We stopped by the library this weekend and borrowed 5 different books on touring Vegas, lol. It’s very intimidating to read about how much there is to do and see and only have one full day to take it all in. While reading Las Vegas for Dummies, they gave a really good idea of what to do with your day. Basically start at the southern end of the strip and work your way to the top. There’s all sorts of moving sidewalks and paths at take you from one place to the other. And since where we’re staying is at the top of the strip we can crash once we’re all done.

Our Vegoose tickets showed up last week (a little off schedule). I was getting worried about where they were so I called the online place we bought them from. They received the VIP tickets a week late! But they Fedex-ed them overnight and everything was fine.

The Vegoose website FINALLY announced the set times for each day. Looks like I’m going to miss Daft Punk on Saturday night.  It’s fine with me. That guy tours regularly, I’ll have another chance to see him. I’m also not sure if we’re gonna stick around for Iggy Pop. It says that he’s only performing the album, Funhouse. C’mon! What about the classics? We’ll see what happens.

We’re going to another halloween party Saturday night so we need to hurry back to our hotel, change, and get to the new hotel where the party is at. Evan didn’t wanna reuse his zombie business man costume from last year, so we had to find a new one. I really wanted him to be pirate since I am too, but he didn’t want to spend too much money. (I have the one in the picture, minus the cool shoes. I dunno if I’ll bring the hat with me, it’s kind of a pain to wear) He finally decided on a roman/toga/caesar’s costume thing (his is kinda like the picture, but with a red sash). If you don’t wear a costume to the party we’re going to, there’s an $80 charge on top of your ticket (which are already $75!)!

I think I have enough WIPs to bring with me on the plane. I finished an Odessa hat this weekend and started another. Also, I wound another skein of Ultra Alpaca for the wrap present. I should be good for the 2 hours we’re in the air.
